Center City Dog Sitter Training.

I had a dog.  Now it’s Shelly’s dog, ’cause after we broke up I was moving into a box truck.  That dog is Penny – the same name given by the previous owners before they dropped her at the SPCA.  Penny is good with people, but likes to go into bark/attack mode around other dogs.  I still love Penny, even if she can be a handful.  Barking at other dogs is not a good trait for a city dog, but that’s how it is, and I’m familiar with it.  Mike and Claire have a dog named Buckley.

Since their adoption of Buckley, they haven’t needed a dog sitter.  Now they do, and that’s where I come in.  I got high and rode my little folding bicycle over here to their apartment.  Now I’m getting the specifics on diets, collars, rawhide, treats, walks, and the timing for all of it.  This is an easy task – I keep a little basset hound company for about 24 hours including a sleepover if I wish to stay.  My room is back to van-stuff only mode.  I’m as comfortable one place as anywhere else, so I’ll probably sleep here tomorrow out of convenience.
